This environment empowers me to experiment with cutting-edge technologies and strategies, aligning with our mission of sustainability and social impact. Contributing to solutions that not only generate financial returns but also create positive societal change is immensely gratifying.”
- Why did you join BlueOrchard?
“I joined BlueOrchard for its agile and forward-thinking approach to finance, which fosters a vibrant and dynamic environment that encourages innovation and collaboration. The firm’s commitment to transformational financial solutions aligns perfectly with my passion to drive impactful change, enabling me to contribute meaningfully to projects that challenge the status quo.”
- What motivates you?
“I am inspired by the excitement of engaging with pioneering financial products that push boundaries, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to create meaningful impact combined with commercial success. The opportunity to innovate and transform fuels my passion every day. It is particularly satisfying to witness capital being raised and investments being made in ways that would not have been possible without technological advancements.”
- What is the biggest global challenge in your view?
“The planet and humanity face enormous challenges on multiple fronts. While climate change is indeed a major concern, I believe that reducing global poverty is a key element for societies to become more sustainable. Banking the unbanked is a crucial building block in the effort to unlock entrepreneurial spirit, stimulate economic activity, and improve lives today.”
- What is is your favorite book? Why
“I appreciate “The Drunkard’s Walk” by Leonard Mlodinow. The book highlights how our social perceptions and decisions are often influenced more by randomness than by deliberate planning, challenging our understanding of success and failure. The book’s exploration of cognitive biases and their impact on social interactions provides profound insights into the unpredictable nature of human behaviour.”
