My name is Jose Elías Suazo Romero and I come from Yoro, Honduras. Over the last three years, I have received five different loans from Credisol (Honduran microfinance institution), which allowed me to expand my coffee plantation from 30’000 square yards to 280’000 square yards. I currently sell the refined crop but I plan to sell the product ready for consumption on both the national and international market soon.  Aside from the coffee business, I own a grocery store which also has grown over the years. My plan for this business is to turn it into a small supermarket, to be able to support my local community.

Not only did the loans from Credisol help me grow my different businesses, they also have helped me to cover for the education of my two daughters and for my trainings in the fields of coffee processing, organic fertilizers and business finance.
